was founded in 1992 by Rev. George Malkmus,
after he eliminated his colon cancer and other
health issues by following God’s plan for the
care of the body. Since that time, he has been
proclaiming the message, “You Don’t Have to be
Sick!” and thousands of people around the world
have experienced healing by following the
principles outlined in The Hallelujah Diet®.
The Mission
The Hallelujah Acres® mission is to teach people the world over about God’s natural laws
for healing and health, and to show them how to attain and maintain optimal health while
eliminating sickness and disease. As written in Genesis 1:29, God’s plan for our health
includes a living, plant-based diet, as well as exercise, fresh air, pure water, sunshine,
proper rest, and other factors that promote wellbeing in body, mind, and spirit.
The Diet
Specifically, The Hallelujah Diet® emphasizes the importance of consuming raw, living
plant foods and their juices. The body is made up of living cells and needs living food at
the cellular level to maintain health; thus The Hallelujah Diet® is designed to maximize
the amount of vital living nutrients absorbed by the body’s cells to optimize the built-in
healing power of the body.
The Ministry
The Hallelujah Acres® Ministry encompasses a wide
range of services and outreach support for those seeking
knowledge in the care of the body “temple”. Our

Reverend George Malkmus
The founder of Hallelujah Acres®, George Malkmus, was a successful pastor of a large
church in upstate New York when he was first diagnosed with colon cancer. He had just
recently seen his mother pass from the same disease, and rather than go the medical
establishment route of chemotherapy and radiation, which didn’t seem to help his Mother,
he decided to search for another solution. He sought God and was directed to Genesis 1:29.That was over 25 years ago; today Reverend Malkmus along with his wife Rhonda run a ministry that has touched the lives of tens of thousands, preaching the message,
“You Don’t Have to be Sick”. Reverend Malkmus has been on the 700 Club, and numerous local television and radio programs. He has traveled all over the world presenting his free health seminar, “You Don’t Have to Be Sick!”. In addition, on the first Saturday of every month, a free health seminar is offered at The Hallelujah Acres® headquarter in Shelby, N.C., where people from all over the United States and other countries come to learn about health and healing from a biblical perspective.
Dr. Michael Donaldson
Michael Donaldson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude, in
Chemical Engineering from Washington State University in 1991, and his Ph.D. in
Chemical Engineering from Cornell University in 1998, where his graduate research was
done in biochemical engineering. His research and personal experience led him to focus on
state-of-the-art dietary interventions rather than biotechnology to deal with sickness and
disease.
Dr. Donaldson has been part of the Hallelujah Acres® Foundation since 1998, where he
focuses on many research projects dealing with nutrition, specifically with The Hallelujah
Diet®, and its effects on the body. He is also responsible for the research, testing, and
development of the supplements that are offered through Hallelujah Acres®. Dr. Donaldson,
together with Dr. Jorge Barossa from Oasis of Hope, will oversee the five-year research
program based on the data from the Hallelujah Acres® Clinic.
Dr. Donaldson resides in Washington State with his wife, Angela, and their seven children.
