There is an application process and certain requirements that must be met in order participate in the Hallelujah Acres® Clinic Program.

To be considered for our program, please call the toll-free Hallelujah Acres® Clinic number at 1-800-842-4163, and we will schedule your interview with the medical director to ensure that admission requirements are met. Once accepted, we will then schedule you for a visit to the clinic.

Financial Arrangements
Once you have talked to one of doctors and decided to come to Hallelujah Acres® Medical Clinic for treatment, you should make your arrangements with our Admissions Department prior to your arrival. A representative from this department will send you a protocol and registration forms that you will be required to sign and fax back to us at (619) 690-8410. This form will include the cost and payment for your treatment and stay at our hospital.

Payment must be made upon admission in the form of a cashier’s check made out to OASIS, S.C. or traveler’s checks. You can also make your payment via wire transfer prior to your admission. There is also a Medical records request form, which you have to fill and fax to your family doctor or hospital so that they can send all your medical records to us.

Mexican Immigration Regulations
Mexican Immigration Office requires all foreign visitors to comply with the following regulations:
Acquire Immigration Tourist Permit at Port of Entry
Cost of permit is $24.00 Usd.
Permit may be issued for 7 days up to six months

Necessary Identification Documents:
Valid Passport or
Original or certified copy of Birth Certificate, w/picture ID (for US and Canadian citizens only)
Certificate of Naturalization w/picture ID (for Us and Canadian citizens only)
For U.S. Legal Residents:
Valid passport from country of which you are citizen (resident card is not sufficient).

Travel Arrangements

Make arrangements to travel from your home to San Diego, California. Airlines can impose advance-purchasing restrictions, but will sometimes waive them if you indicate you are traveling for medical reasons. You must give us your flight arrangements before your day of travel to ensure that our shuttle driver is there to pick you up and bring you to Oasis of Hope.

Airport Pick-Up: The Hallelujah Acres® Medical Clinic provides door-to-door services from the San Diego Airport to Hallelujah Acres® Medical Clinic at no charge for patients who have made admissions arrangements for therapy as long as the patient is able to walk on his own power. Our driver in the baggage claim area will meet you. He will have a sign with your name and the Oasis of Hope Hospital logo. He will help you with your bags and take you directly to Hallelujah Acres® Medical Clinic. It is a short thirty-minute drive from the airport to our hospital.

Arrival Time: We recommend that on your first day you arrive between 7:30 and 10:00 in the morning, if you are flying in we suggest that you stay at the baggage claim area until one of our drivers picks you up.

Fasting Requirements: Begin fasting at midnight before your first day. It is important to consume liquids, drinking water only.

Checking In: You will be greeted and welcomed by your Patient Representative who will accompany you to your room.

Registration: You will be asked to fill out a registration form. Once you have registered, you will receive an identification card and meal tickets. You will be asked for this card regularly, so please keep it handy. You will also receive a patient manual that provides information that will prove helpful during your stay. Your patient representative will check in with you daily and help you with any special needs or requests that you may have, as well as to encourage you.

Clothing: Bring comfortable clothes and your own pajamas because we don’t use hospital gowns, there are laundry facilities at the Oasis and there is a $5.50 charge per load.

Home Care Prescription: Before you leave the clinic your attending physician will issue a prescription for nutraceuticals that you have to take for the following 3 months which include Silibinin/Isosilybin B, Selenium Complex, Grape Seed Extract, Green Tea Extract, Vitamin D3, Curcumin/Bioperine, and Melatonin. Payment for your 3-month home-care prescription should be in the form of traveler’s checks. We recommend bringing $1,000.00 in traveler’s checks or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express).
